Everyone finds their own path to wellness. For me it was massage therapy. Massage changed my life in several ways. My journey began after I had my first massage. I received a gift certificate for a Swedish massage. After that first experience I felt incredible, both mentally and physically. The neck and shoulder tension I had from stress and desk work had subsided. I was hooked! I eventually realized when I got regular massage, I could keep it all in check. One day I decided to completely change careers and learn to share this amazing thing with others.
In 2008, I graduated with honors from The Medical Arts School for Massage Therapy in Raleigh, and I'm licensed in the state of North Carolina. I have a broad skill set of techniques from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones and Cupping that I can incorporate into a session. I enjoy learning new skills, including a post graduate certificate in Prenatal massage. My interests are preventative health and stress relief.
In my free time I can be found listening to music, reading, camping and learning to play the ukelele. I look forward to meeting you!
